Product Overview
Ultra GelRed is a novel nucleic acid dye that can replace ethidium bromide (EB). It offers numerous advantages, including high sensitivity and strong thermal stability, providing superior detection sensitivity for trace DNA, especially trace small DNA molecules. Under UV light, the DNA fluoresces red, resulting in clearer and sharper electrophoretic bands.
Validation
Cell membrane permeabilization assay for SYBR Green, SYBR Safe, and Ultra GelRed showed that Ultra GelRed was not able to enter cells (Figure 1).
