Product Overview
The Mut Express Universal Fast Mutagenesis Kit, based on ClonExpress homologous recombination technology, allows for simultaneous site-directed mutagenesis of 1-5 discontinuous sites on a target plasmid in a single operation. This kit integrates the amplification module of 2×Phanta Flash Master Mix and the rapid cloning module of 2×CE Mix V3. 2×Phanta Flash Master Mix offers high fidelity and rapid amplification, and is a single-tube mixture requiring only the addition of primers and template.
When using the Mut Express Universal Fast Mutagenesis Kit for site-directed mutagenesis, primer design is flexible, and the input template amount is extremely low, facilitating the complete degradation of the original methylated template. 2×CE Mix V3 can accommodate 1-5 site-directed mutagenesis. If the amplification products are specific, the Dpn I digestion products can be used directly for recombination reactions without DNA purification, making it the preferred kit for multi-site DNA mutagenesis.
