In vitro transcription of RNA
T4 RNA Ligase 2 Mutant-01 (1 mg/ml), SKU: DD4140 The engineered mutant of T4 RNA ligase 2 is mainly used for the ligation reaction at the nick sites in the double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) structure.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
T4 RNA ligase 2 mutant-01 is an engineered double-stranded RNA ligase mutant derived from T4 RNA ligase 2 (T4 Rnl2). This enzyme, also derived from T4 bacteriophage, belongs to the ATP-dependent double-stranded RNA ligase (dsRNA ligase) family. It is primarily used for ligation reactions at nick sites in double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) structures.
Compared to wild-type T4 Rnl2, T4 RNA ligase 2 mutant-01 exhibits higher ligation activity and substrate compatibility with 2′-modified nucleotides and phosphate-thioester (PS) modified substrates. It is particularly suitable for the ligation of highly or fully modified oligonucleotides (such as siRNA and ASO) and demonstrates excellent applicability in enzymatic synthesis and large-scale applications.
