Product Overview
The Equalbit ssDNA Assay Kit is a simple and sensitive fluorescence quantification kit for single-stranded DNA (ssDNA). This kit contains a fluorescent detection reagent, buffer, and ssDNA standards. The kit exhibits good linearity for ssDNA samples in the 1–200 ng range and can quantify samples with concentrations from 50 pg/μl to 200 ng/μl. While the selectivity for ssDNA is not higher than that for dsDNA, it shows good tolerance to common contaminants such as salts, free nucleotides, proteins, solvents, and detergents.

Performance
High Detection Sensitivity: In Figure 1, linearity was measured for 12 different concentrations of ssDNA samples using Vazyme #EQ311 and similar products from Supplier T, with fluorescence values read using a Qubit Fluorometer 4.0. Data show good linearity for the total ssDNA sample volume in the 1–200 ng range.
Fast Dye Binding Speed: Vazyme #EQ311 and a similar product from Supplier T, were used for four ssDNA samples of different concentrations. Starting 1 minute after sample addition, measurements were taken every 1 minute, recording the numerical changes within 5 minutes. Results showed that the deviation between the results after 5 minutes and 1 minute after addition for both kits was within 10%. This indicates that the binding speed of the two kits to ssDNA samples is consistent, reaching saturation within 2 minutes. See Fugue 2.
Strong Resistance to Contamination: Table 1 shows the test results of this product's resistance to common contaminants, such as salts, free nucleotides, proteins, solvents, and detergents. The table shows that this product has the same resistance to impurities as the equivalent product from Supplier T.
