Product Overview
The miRNA 1st Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit (by tailing A) is a kit for miRNA reverse transcription (RT) by tailing A. Poly A polymerase (PAP) adds a Poly(A) adds a Poly(A) tail to the 3' end of miRNA or total RNA, and then universal reverse transcription primers and reverse transcriptase initiate the RT reaction. The HiScript miRNA enzyme mixture contains bioengineered reverse transcriptase and PAP. Combined with optimized buffers, it effectively inhibits the reverse transcription of non-miRNAs, resulting in highly specific qPCR results. The 2× miRNA RT mixture and HiScript miRNA enzyme mixture contain all the components required for miRNA tail addition and reverse transcription. Both reactions can be performed simultaneously in the same reaction tube.
