PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The HiScript II U+ One-Step qRT-PCR Probe Kit is designed for qPCR detection using RNA (e.g., RNA viruses) as templates. Utilizing gene-specific primers (GSPs), reverse transcription and qPCR reactions can be performed in the same reaction tube. No additional tube opening/pipetting is required, significantly increasing throughput and reducing the risk of contamination. The HiScript II U+ One-Step qRT-PCR Probe Kit combines the superior performance of HiScript II reverse transcriptase and hot-start Champagne Taq DNA polymerase with optimized buffers, achieving detection sensitivity up to 0.1 pg total RNA or <10 RNA template copies. This product is supplied as master mix. 2× One-Step U+ Mix contains optimized buffers and dNTP mixtures suitable for highly specific detection systems based on fluorescently labeled probes (e.g., TaqMan). Furthermore, a dUTP/UDG anti-contamination system is introduced, operating at room temperature to eliminate the influence of amplified product contamination on qPCR, ensuring accurate results.
