PRODUCT OVERVIEW

 

2×Taq Plus Master Mix II (Dye Plus) contains Taq Plus DNA polymerase, dNTPs, and an optimized buffer system for high-yield PCR. Compared to Taq DNA polymerase, it offers higher fidelity, stronger amplification performance, and higher yield.This product can efficiently amplify genomic DNA fragments up to 10 kb, plasmid DNA fragments and λ DNA fragments up to 15 kb. 2×Taq Plus Master Mix II only requires the addition of primers and template for amplification, reducing pipetting operations and improving throughput and reproducibility. The system contains a protective agent to ensure stable activity after repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This product includes a loading buffer, allowing for direct loading of PCR products for electrophoresis after the reaction, making it convenient to use. The PCR products contain adenine at the 3' end, enabling cloning into T-vectors.  The amplification products are applicable for ClonExpress Ultra One Step Cloning Kit V3 (#C117) and Ultra-Universal TOPO Cloning Kit (#C603).

      Experimental Cases

      • Ultra-fast Amplification

        The 2 kb fragment was amplified using Vazyme #P223 (supplier A and supplier B) following the reaction procedures recommended in their respective manuals (Figure 1). P223 completes amplification in just 30 minutes, significantly reducing the required time.

       

      • Broad Compatibility

        The compatibility of low/high GC content DNA and different template types was tested using Vazyme #P223 and kits from suppliers A-E (Figure 2). The results showed that P223 was compatible with DNA templates with GC contents ranging from 24% to 79%, animal and plant lysates, and bacterial plaques/cultures. Its amplification success rate and specificity were superior to those of kits from suppliers A-E.
