RNA was extracted from different plants (common plants, fruit pulp, polysaccharide- and polyphenol-rich plants) and fungal  samples using Vazyme #RC411, and analyzed by agarose gel electrophoresis.   • PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    The FastPure Universal Plant Total RNA Isolation Kit is designed for rapid extraction of total RNA from plant tissues. This kit contains two solution systems and can be used to easily extract RNA from a variety of plant tissues (wheat, rice, corn, Arabidopsis, tobacco, and rapeseed, among others); polysaccharide- and polyphenol-rich plant tissues (cotton leaves, soybean leaves, pine needles, ginkgo leaves, fig leaves, gardenia leaves, wheat seeds, corn seeds, red bean seeds, potatoes, sweet potatoes, soybean seeds, sesame seeds, peanut seeds, and rapeseed, among others); fruit pulp (watermelon, apple, peach, pear, banana, and mango, among others); and fungi (shiitake mushrooms, white button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, and Neurospora crassa, among others).

     

    This kit utilizes silica column purification technology, eliminating the need for toxic reagents (such as phenol, chloroform, and β-mercaptoethanol) or time-consuming alcohol precipitation. The entire extraction process takes only 11 minutes. The included FastPure gDNA-Filter Columns III effectively remove impurities and gDNA. FastPure RNA Columns V efficiently bind RNA and, combined with an optimized buffer, yield highly pure total RNA with minimal residual gDNA and no protein or other impurities. The RNA obtained can be used in a variety of downstream experiments, including RT-PCR, real-time PCR, RNA library preparation, microarray analysis, Northern blotting, dot blotting, and molecular cloning.
