Product Description
This kit utilizes ChainFree® Anti-Flag Magnetic Beads to efficiently perform RNA Immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays for Flag-tagged (DYKDDDDK) fusion proteins.
 
The ChainFree® Anti-Flag Magnetic Beads are conjugated with a rigorously screened, optimized, and recombinantly expressed Flag antibody that is devoid of light and heavy chains. Consequently, the resulting IP eluate is entirely free from antibody light or heavy chain contamination.
 
FI8704: ChainFree® Flag-Tag RIP Assay
 
The "Protein-First" Approach
  • Purpose: To identify all RNA molecules (mRNAs, lncRNAs, circRNAs) that are physically bound to a specific Protein of Interest (POI).
  • Technical Advantage (The "ChainFree" Innovation): Traditional RIP assays use standard IgG antibodies, which contaminate the final sample with heavy (~50 kDa) and light (~25 kDa) chains. FI8704 uses ChainFree® Anti-Flag nano-antibodies that are entirely devoid of these chains.
  • Impact: This ensures pristine Western Blots and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) results, as there is no "antibody shadow" to mask your target proteins or interacting partners.
