  • PRODUCT OVERVIEW

    2×Phanta Max ultra-fidelity DNA polymerase is an upgraded version of Phanta ultra-fidelity DNA polymerase. Compared with the previous generation of products, Phanta Max has added unique extension factors, specific enhancement factors and plateau anti-inhibition factors, which greatly improves the long fragment amplification ability, amplification specificity and amplification yield. Phanta Max can efficiently amplify simple templates up to 40 kb (such as λDNA, plasmid), 20 kb complex templates (such as genomic DNA) and 10 kb cDNA. The amplification error rate of Phanta Max is 128 times lower than that of traditional Taq DNA polymerase. In addition, Phanta Max has good resistance to PCR inhibitors and can be used for direct PCR amplification of bacteria, fungi, plant tissues, animal tissues, and even whole blood samples.

    Phanta Max contains two monoclonal antibodies that inhibit 5'→3' polymerase activity and 3'→5' exonuclease activity at room temperature, enabling hot-start PCR with good specificity. This product contains Phanta Max Super-Fidelity DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, and an optimized buffer system. It only needs to add primers and templates for amplification, which reduces pipetting operations and improves detection throughput and repeatability of results. The system contains a protective agent that allows the 2×Phanta Max Master Mix to maintain stable activity after repeated freezing and thawing. The amplified product is blunt-ended and is compatible with the ClonExpress kit (Vazyme #C112/C113/C116) and TOPO cloning kit (Vazyme #C603).
