Add&Read TR-FRET Human IFN-γ Quantitative Detection Kit, SKU: DD2706
Add&Read Human IFN-γ is based on TR-FRET technology, also known as "wash-free ELISA". Compared with traditional ELISA, it only requires two steps, saving more than 80% of time and labor.

Product Overview

Interferon-γ (IFN-γ) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine primarily produced by T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, playing a crucial role in antiviral defense mechanisms in vivo. IFN-γ assembles intracellularly into a soluble dimer and is secreted into the extracellular space. It participates in antiviral defense, macrophage activation, enhanced neutrophil and monocyte function, and the upregulation of intracellular MHC-I and MHC-II expression.

This Add&Read TR-FRET Human IFN-γ Quantitative Detection Kit uses a sandwich assay to detect IFN-γ levels. The kit contains IFN-γ standards and two IFN-γ-specific monoclonal antibodies, one conjugated to Eu (donor, Anti-IFN-γ-Eu) and the other conjugated to A3 (receptor, Anti-IFN-γ-A3). When both antibodies bind simultaneously to IFN-γ, the proximity of anti-IFN-γ-Eu and anti-IFN-γ-A3 enables fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) (Figure 1). The fluorescent donor is excited using 320/340 nm excitation light, emitting light at 620 nm. The fluorescent acceptor iss excited using 620 nm light, emitting light at 665 nm. The concentration of IFNγ in the sample is proportional to the FRET signal (the ratio of fluorescence intensity at 665 nm and 620 nm).
