CellCounting-Lite 2.0 Luminescent Cell Viability Assay, SKU: DD1101

CellCounting-Lite 2.0 (CCL2) is a cell viability assay that detects the amount of ATP released by living cells through a luminescent signal based on a luciferase system.


Product Overview

CellCounting-Lite 2.0 (CCL2) is a cell viability detection reagent based on the luciferase system. The reagent contains high-purity luciferin and thermostable luciferase.

 

When this product is added to the cell culture, the cells will lyse and release ATP, and the reaction shown in Figure 1 will occur, emitting a stable "glow" signal. The luminescence intensity is proportional to the amount of ATP, that is, the number of living cells, within a certain range, so this product can be used for quantitative detection of the number of living cells.
